Now we can start talking about Max Payne.

Returning to the storyline, the next day, Max’s former partner Alex Balder (Donal Logue) picks him up, finding the body of the murdered Natasha in the alley. Max Payne is accused as the killer since the cop found his wallet on the scene.
Desperate to find the killer, Max finally finds out that Aesir Pharmaceuticals, where his wife was working, has something to do with the murders. His investigation leads him to the clue that this company is manufacturing a drug for the military. It was a drug created for the purpose of enhancing a soldier’s ability in combat and to control their fears. However, the drug produced a side effects wherein the soldiers have severe, traumatic hallucinations about flying creatures, and become heavily addicted to the drug.
Max has to accept a terrible truth that the killer is someone who he trusts. Max has to take the drug and have this hallucination to survive and bring this company down.
This movie is a combination of action, thriller and sci-fi in one movie. The special effects are excellent. Black angels are flying all over the place and the sky is changes to fire. This is another entertaining action movie with plenty of big shotguns, shootings, and a great appearance by Mark Wahlberg.
