Plot
This is a story of Jason Tripitikas, a young American teenager, who is obsessed in martial arts. He bought and watched so many movies of kung fu and Chinese culture. He frequently goes to the pawn shop in Chinatown to buy Chinese movies. In this place, he found an ancient staff which was known as the legendary stick weapon of the Chinese warrior called as the Monkey King. When he brought the stick on his hand, he finds himself traveling back to ancient China.

At the end, Jason successfully made it and brings the monkey king back to live. The Monkey King can have a chance to take revenge because Jade Warlord has turned him into stone for five hundred years.
Conclusion
As you can see, it has not much to tell and using the monkey king’s legend regardless the original story. With this kind of story, we cannot expect many fighting scenes of Jackie Chan and Jet Li, but still, it can be an entertaining movie for the fans of Jackie Chan and Jet Li. The best fight in this movie is the fight between Jackie Chan and Jet Li in the old temple. It is the time when Jackie Chan wants to take the staff back after being taken by Jet Li.
In this movie, Jackie Chan plays as the immortal drunken master Lu Yan and as an old man in the pawn shop. Jet Li plays as a monk and of course also as the monkey king.
If you like the humor, the fights of Jackie Chan and the quick moves of Jet Li, this movie are still an entertaining movie, especially, Jackie Chan and Jet Li are fighting each other in one movie.
